All our engineers are NICEIC-registered and trained to the latest 18th Edition wiring regulations. They’re also background-checked, so you know exactly who’s coming into your home.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as bank transfers. Payment is due on completion of the work.

emergency callout questions

How quickly can you respond to an emergency?
We aim to provide same-evening response for emergencies across our coverage area. Call us on 0204 621 4199 and we’ll get someone to you as fast as possible.
Emergency call-outs after 6pm start from £216 inc VAT for the first hour. Weekends and bank holidays start from £264 inc VAT for the first hour. Additional time is charged at £66 per 30 minutes.
Common emergencies include: complete power loss, burning smells from sockets or switches, sparking or arcing, circuits that keep tripping, and exposed wiring. If you’re not sure whether your situation is an emergency, call us and we’ll advise.

EICR certificates questions

What is an EICR?
An EICR (Electrical Installation Condition Report) is a detailed inspection of the electrical systems in a property. It identifies any defects, deterioration, or non-compliance with current safety standards.
Yes. Since 2020, landlords in England must have a valid EICR for all rental properties. The certificate must be renewed at least every five years, or more frequently if the report recommends it.
Our EICR prices start from £180 inc VAT for a studio or one-bedroom property, £264 for a 2-3 bed house, and £336 for a 4-5 bed house. Contact us for multi-property quotes.
A typical EICR for a standard house takes 2-4 hours, depending on the size and complexity of the electrical installation.

fuse board questions

How do I know if I need a new fuse board?
Signs you might need an upgrade include: old-style rewirable fuses, a wooden back board, frequent tripping, or a board that’s more than 25 years old. If you’re planning to install solar panels or an EV charger, you’ll likely need a modern board to handle the additional load.
A standard 10-way consumer unit upgrade costs £660 inc VAT. This includes the board itself, installation, testing, and certification. Larger or more complex installations may cost more – we’ll provide a quote after assessing your property.
Most fuse board upgrades are completed in a single day, typically 4-6 hours. Your power will be off for most of this time, so we recommend planning around this.
An RCD (Residual Current Device) is a safety switch that cuts the power if it detects a fault, such as a live wire touching something it shouldn’t. RCDs can prevent electric shocks and reduce fire risk. All modern consumer units include RCD protection as standard.
